We know, we know; our wrapping is pretty enough to find a reason to keep it, even after the gift has been opened. We teamed up with local creative Satsuki Shibuya, to create a painting based what’s most important to us (quality, simplicity, and transparency). What resulted was beyond expectation; artwork that extends past it’s primary use as simple gift wrap.
Whether you've yet to clean up your holiday mess or you just knew there was something you could do with your V&O wrapping, we’ve rounded up a few ways to style your paper, post-present:
Reuse as gift wrap for someone else.
We know the size is small, so this is definitely for tiny gifts. Regardless, putting it towards another gift is our favorite way to keep passing it forward.
Hang it up.
This is a no brainer, but we’ll go through the motions anyways. Satsuki’s wrapping is so beautiful, we highly recommend repurposing sheets as art for your walls. We decided to frame ours for a more polished, gallery style look, but it looks great just resting on a shelf or pinned to the wall.
If you’re DIY-inclined, we suggest getting crafty. Take it back to the days of elementary school with a paper book cover, turn it into an origami crane to sit atop a bookshelf, or seal it onto the cover of your planner. The possibilities are endless.
